In the UK, AKG supports thousands of individuals every year to overcome their service needs and reach their potential, whether through employment, education, health services, or attitudinal change. From supporting young people into apprenticeships, to helping those with complex needs move into sustainable work, we combine deep local partnerships with national expertise to deliver joined-up solutions.

As part of the global AKG network, we’ve brought together three trusted UK brands: Jobs 22, Healthfind, and Learn Plus Us, under a single identity. While Intuitive Thinking Skills (ITS) retains its independent brand, it remains an integral part of our group, contributing its behavioural change expertise across justice, health and employment contexts.

With over 425 colleagues and delivery across 25 UK locations, AKG UK brings together employment, learning, health, and behavioural change support in a way that meets the needs of communities today, and anticipates the challenges of tomorrow.

Employment Services

Helping people find and keep good jobs

  • We are the prime contract holder for the delivery of the DWP Restart Scheme across East Central England, supporting tens of thousands into sustainable employment. We deliver this alongside a network of local delivery partners.
  • Our work in this area includes:
    • Specialist support for people with health conditions, disabilities, and long-term unemployment.
    • Youth employment services including job readiness training and employer engagement.
    • Employer partnerships providing in-work support, inclusive recruitment, and workforce development.

Learning and Skills Upskilling

Upskilling individuals and meeting labour market needs 

  • Delivery of apprenticeships, diplomas, and short courses in key sectors including Health & Social Care, Childcare, Business Admin and Functional Skills. 
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and basic skills support. 
  • Tailored programmes for young people, care leavers, and those returning to the workforce. 
  • Strong partnerships with local authorities, schools and employers to create accessible learning pathways. 

Health and Wellbeing

Supporting people to be well and stay well 

  • Health coaching for people facing barriers to work, including mental and physical health conditions. 
  • Lifestyle support and clinical signposting delivered through integrated health and employment models. 
  • Preventative health interventions, including wellbeing workshops and digital resources. 
  • Behaviour change programmes supporting people with addiction, criminal justice involvement, or housing instability, delivered by peers with lived experience. 

Attitudinal Change and Behavioural Support

  • Intuitive Thinking Skills delivers peer-led programmes designed to build resilience, confidence, and positive decision-making. 
  • Services span justice, health, homelessness and employment sectors, with a proven model of lived experience education. 
  • Available as part of standalone or integrated support offers, tailored to meet the needs of vulnerable groups.
