In Italy, the unemployment rate in 2025 stood at 6.5%, a figure higher than the European average. Youth employment represents a significant challenge.

Bridging this skills gap is an urgent priority for the Italian economy. AKG Italia — with 13 hubs across Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Lazio — focuses on enhancing the skills of Italian workers by delivering tailor-made employment support services for roles across various sectors, while connecting employers to an underutilised talent pool in the regions where we operate. 

In 2025, we supported more than 3,900 people in their job search, trained over 2,300 individuals and helped place more than 1,000 people with our partner companies.

Talent preselection and recruitment: AKG supports businesses in sourcing and selecting new talent, offering free recruitment and preselection services to facilitate the hiring of qualified personnel. Additionally, we provide consultancy on hiring incentives and financial benefits, ensuring companies stay up to date on available opportunities. 

Funded training: AKG supports companies in developing training plans for their employees that strengthen skills and drive growth, with a focus on identifying the best funding solutions.

Our team helps businesses access available funds, working with regional vouchers, main interprofessional funds, company accounts and national schemes, providing end-to-end support from needs analysis to securing financing.
